Intimate Colorado Garden of the Gods Elopement | Sierra + Charlie

Sierra + Charlie ventured by roadtrip all the way to Colorado for their greatest adventure yet—marriage. They had approached me with their idea to elope in the Colorado Springs area while they are venturing through the area. They had a magical vision of eloping with the red rocks in the area but also wanted to incorporate the mountains since they are in Colorado! I knew a great spot to incorporate both & the planning soon began.

Sierra + Charlie started their elopement wedding day off slow. They were able to get ready at their own pace and spend some quality time together in the morning. They opted to get dressed separately, then surprise each other by having a first look to see each other in their wedding attire for the first time. The moment they saw each other for the first time was so magical to witness—you can definitely tell just how much love they hold for each other.

Once they finished their first look, we packed up everything we needed for the day & headed out to get them married…with a few pit stops along the way. The first place we visited was the local courthouse to pick up their marriage license!

Once the marriage license was secured, we headed to a local tattoo shop for Sierra + Charlie to get matching mountain tattoos to commemorate their wedding day! I’ll let the photos talk for this portion of the day.

After a successful tattoo trip Sierra + Charlie opted to explore downtown Manitou Springs and find the perfect dinner spot. We ended up at a local burger joint and celebrated with some amazing burgers and drinks.

After we finished eating our delicious food, it was officially wedding time!! We headed straight to Garden of the Gods right before sunset for the most magical vow and ring exchange. Sierra + Charlie had their dog, Moose, present and Sierra’s sister as well to help them throughout the day.

After Sierra + Charlie were officially MARRIED, we took some amazing couples portraits in the remaining sunset and blue hour before it got dark. Once the night sky was fully in place, Sierra + Charlie opted to share their first dance in front of their beaming headlights and soak in the last of the day while watching the stars. Aaanddd of course ended the night in a classic CO way.

It was such an honor to be one of the only people present for Sierra and Charlie’s wedding & to be trusted to document the entire experience. Their elopement day is truly one that will stick with me & I am so grateful to have made some lifelong friends along this experience. I truly cannot thank Sierra + Charlie enough for having so much trust in me to help curate their wedding experience and document it. I absolutely cannot wait to watch their life together unfold.
